Sakura Hibachi Chicken and Steak was flavorful and provided a large quantity of leftovers for the next day.

Have you ever wanted an amazing, flavorful, and filling Hibachi dish without paying over $30?

I was ravenous when I walked into Sakura #10. When I walked through the front doors, my nose was engulfed by the smell of savory flavors—steak, vegetables, chicken, and shrimp-crowded plates.

The customers swarmed the restaurant and the waiters seemed intent on making sure that everyone was served in a timely fashion. The walls were vivid red and black colors—a stark contrast with the colorful plates surrounding me.

The moment you receive your food, the feeling of a Japanese steakhouse hits you like a freight train. Sakura #10 does a good job of being a modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese steakhouse. This restaurant is a college student favorite ,as it gives you that high -priced hibachi and sushi for a college-budget price.

I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Steak with Vegetables. The chicken just about melted in my mouth, tasting fully like it had just come off of a piping hot stove. The flavors were complex and savory. The steak was tender and moist, lending it real steakhouse quality. The plating was nice and the portion they give you is substantial. Do not let the photo fool you; that is what I had to take back to my dorm to eat later.

I apologize for not taking the photo before I ate my lovely entree. Please understand that when the food came out sizzling, I had no thought of grabbing my camera and taking a photo first, just because I was so excited to dig into my food. The service was swift; the waiter delivered my food quickly. Every time I needed something, the server was there to help, despite being in a little bit of a dinner rush.

I definitely recommend Sakura to anyone looking for an alternative to the usual sushi spot, Sushi Village, or for those who enjoy hibachi at a fair price. My hibachi chicken and steak dish cost $11.99 for a large portion of food.

Sakura #10 offers sushi, hibachi, teriyaki, and different options of entrees, soups, and salads.
